‘Worshipping the Father in Spirit and in Truth” John 4-24.
1: “When the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David, King of Israel. All the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, – the Levites sang praises with gladness and bowed their heads and worshipped. “ 2 Chron.29-27/30
2. “He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our GOD:” Ps.40-3, Ps. 33-3, Isa. 42-10.
3. “Bless the LORD, O my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name. Bless the LORD, O my soul and forget not all His benefits: —- so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles”. Ps,103-1-5
4. “Praise ye the LORD. – praise Him for His mighty acts – praise Him with the trumpet, the psaltery and harp, with the timbrel and dance, with stringed instruments and organs, upon the loud cymbals – upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD”. Ps.150
5. “I will Bless the LORD at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad”. Ps. 34-1/2

10. On the Day of Pentecost – “the people were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, behold are not all these which speak Galileans ? How hear we every man speak in our own tongues – the wonderful works of GOD .” Acts 2-7 & 11.
11. “Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength ( perfected praise) because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger”. P2.8-2 & Matt. 21-16
12. “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of GOD in CHRIST JESUS concerning you”. 1 Thess. 5-18. (Note the 7 brief injunctions in v. 16-22).

We should all be able to sing in our own words and our own tunes our praises to GOD in thankfulness and spiritual worship of all His Wonderful works and loving kindness to us. GOD loves to hear us praising Him, no matter how feeble our voices, words or tunes, he inhabits the praises of His people.
