THE 7 THUNDERS:
Chap. 11: The 7 “Voices of the LORD” in Ps. 29 and their relevance to the 7
Thunders:
They are not an interpretation of the 7 Thunders but are complementary to them, and in
symbolic language foreshow their message, as we shall now consider.

1st Thunder: GOD the Almighty Creator:
… 1st Voice: Ps.29-3 “The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the GOD of Glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters”.
2nd Thunder: The LORD of Life:
… 2nd Voice. Ps.29-4 “The Voice of the LORD is full of Power”.
3rd Thunder: The Supreme Architect of the Ages.
… 3rd Voice: Ps.29-4 “The Voice of the LORD is full of Majesty”.
4th Thunder. The Maker of the Everlasting Covenant.
… 4th Voice: Ps.29-5 “The Voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon”.
5th Thunder: JESUS our SAVIOUR:
… 5th Voice: Ps.29.7 “The Voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire”. JESUS our Saviour divideth the flames of the fires of Hell.
6th Thunder: GOD as our Heavenly Father.
… 6th Voice Ps. 29-8 “The Voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh”.
7th Thunder. JESUS comes as LORD OF LORDS & KING OF KINGS.
… 7th Voice – Ps. 29-9/11 “The Voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in His Temple doth every one speak of His Glory”.
